close to parks and iconic landmarks for perfect strolls
I really loved being just a short walk away from the stunning Pannett Park Art Gallery and only a few steps from the historical Whitby Museum, making my weekend strolls enjoyable and enriching. plus, being close to great cafes like The Whitby Deli added a lovely touch to my mornings, allowing me to unwind and soak in the atmosphere of this charming town.

Location right on the main street, surrounded by charming shops and eateries. The historic building adds a unique touch to the atmosphere, evoking a sense of nostalgia while being close to the local attractions.
Parking becomes a hassle, as there are no dedicated spaces on-site. The room I stayed in showed signs of wear, with a stained carpet and a bathroom that felt somewhat neglected, complete with mould on the window sill and a leaky shower. the view offered nothing spectacular, looking out onto a grimy roof. it didn’t quite meet expectations for the price, especially considering the dated furniture and some minor inconveniences.

Friendly staff and great location
I had a lovely two-night stay in a Double Room with a View. The staff were incredibly accommodating, especially the reception lady who helped with parking tickets. Breakfast offered a delicious selection, and I enjoyed the beautiful sea views from my room. the parking situation was a bit tricky and could use improvement.

The King Suite with Whirlpool offered a comfortable stay with spacious layout and luxurious amenities. The whirlpool provided a relaxing experience after a long day exploring the area, and the room's decor felt modern yet cozy.
Parking presents a hassle. the advertised availability is misleading since there's no onsite car park, leading to a frustrating search for nearby spaces that are often very small and crowded. Thin walls in the hotel amplified noise, resulting in disturbances from neighboring rooms that could disrupt sleep, particularly late-night chatter or TV sounds.

Incredible spa bath!
Had a blast! The room was way better than we thought it'd be. Loved the spa bath with a TV while soaking, and the big TV in the bedroom was awesome too. Staff were friendly, and the late-night bar was a nice bonus. Only wish the view was a bit better! Oh, and we needed some robes for that spa vibe.
